Couch or Love Seat

Tiles: Two for Loveseat, Three (or more) for Couch

Lockdowns: Ten for Loveseat, Fifteen (or more) for Couch

Supplies Needed

  • Cut Cloth (4 pieces for loveseat, 6 or more for couch)
  • Cloth C (8 pieces for loveseat, 12 or more for couch)
  • Cloth D (4 pieces for loveseat, 6 or more for couch)
  • Wooden Benches (2 for loveseat, 3 or more for couch)

How to identify the different types of cloth:

Cut Cloth

(Left over after making something from folded cloth or a bolt of fabric)

Cloth C

(Smooth and light compared to the other types)

Cloth D

(More rumpled than the other types)

Instructions:

These instructions are for a couch or loveseat that faces East.

1. Place a bench and lock it down.

2. On top of the bench, stack 2 pieces of Cloth C.

3. On top of that stack 2 pieces of Cloth D.

4. Drag the Cloth C over your paperdoll (the large image of your character) and let go (it will snap back). Lock both types of cloth down.

5. Stack 2 pieces of Cut Cloth on top of everything and lock them down.

6. Stack 2 pieces of Cloth C on top of that and lock them down (when you do this, be careful not to have your cursor over the first cloth that you stacked; you must click on the sliver of floor that you can see that's still in the same tile). You may want to dye this cloth C a slightly lighter or darker color than the other cloth so it stands out a little.

7. To make a loveseat, repeat this process in the next tile. To make a couch, repeat this process in two more tiles (or more depending on how wide you want the couch to be). Note: It will be easier to stack things if you add the extra tiles to the South of the one you've already done.

8. You may wish to place extra items on the couch or loveseat as decoration, such as flowers, books, or pillows.
